Ephesians 4: 11 And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]

When it comes to discipleship, programmes can never take precedence over relationships. It has always been the intention of this bible school to equip followers of Jesus to be true and practical disciples in spirit and truth. This can not only be done through theological training. It needs to be done also through constant mentoring of the students, so that students may learn what a true disciple is as they continue on their spiritual journey.

The school is designed for classes to be taught directly by a facilitator (s). Such a facilitator (s) will be approved by Lighthouse Ministries International. The facilitator (s) will then set up a ‘campus’, meaning a base of operation where students can be trained in the material as provided by Lighthouse Ministries. Such a campus can be anything from a home to a hall at a school or a room at a church.
The idea is that students must study together and be present, so that questions may be asked so that there is constant interaction and corporate growth in the knowledge, truth and wisdom of God.

Students will liaise directly with the facilitator (s), who will teach the material, mark modules, and advise on course fees. The facilitator (s) will liaise directly with Lighthouse Ministries management, who act as overseers and who will provide support and guidance where needed.
