Re-Forma is responding to the crisis of insufficiently trained church leadership. Founded on outcome- and impact-based assessment, Re-Forma provides recognised benchmarks for informal and nonformal biblically-based ministry. After all, the world desperately needs Christian leaders who know the Scripture and can effectively serve the church. For these servants, Re-Forma awards a certificate of global recognition, underwritten by the World Evangelical Alliance.

Studies show that over 90% of all pastors do not have a formal theological education. According to statistics, that equates to well over 2 million Protestant pastors worldwide. In addition, every year thousands of new Protestant churches are established, very often without a trained pastor or preacher. The biggest crisis facing the evangelical, global church today is the fact that most pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders are under-educated or not educated at all.

What is an outcome? It is simply a task that a pastor should be able to complete in terms of his or her spiritual training.

Information on Completing the Assessment:

​

SO HOW DOES THIS WORK? For those who are already serving as a pastor, you can complete the outcomes and forward Lighthouse Ministries your answers. Your outcomes (answers) will be assessed, and if approved, will be forwarded to Re-Forma for the issuing of the certificate (at a cost to the pastor). If Lighthouse Ministries notices a certain lack of understanding or training regarding the assessment, then Lighthouse Ministries will engage with the pastor on possible training in order to be equipped to fulfil the outcomes. Thus the assessment can lead to theoretical training and equipping. PLEASE NOTE, SOME OF THE OUTCOMES REQUIRE PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATIONS, WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED THROUGH FOR EXAMPLE SUPPLYING A VIDEO.

You achieve the outcome by answering the corresponding question (some will be practical demonstrations). Once all answers corresponding to the outcomes are answered, sent

to pastriaan@lighthouseministriesint.com for an assessment (some answers require a video for example to be forwarded as well). Once passed, your assessment will be forwarded to Re-Forma, otherwise possible further training is an option.

Look at the study guides but YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE THEIR ASSIGNMENTS. YOU CAN SIMPLY USE THE STUDY GUIDE TO LEARN AND TO BE EMPOWERED,

Lighthouse Ministries will also be available to help where the student/pastor needs help in terms of an outcome.

Again, the Re-Forma outcomes are available free of charge to any provider wanting its students to qualify for the Re-Forma Certificate, which is underwritten by the World Evangelical Alliance. Students thus need to show that they have successfully demonstrated all the outcomes before being awarded the Certificate. Please note that this not an accredited programme, but the Certificate provides an international standard for non- formal/informal training.

The awarding of the Certificate will cost a nominal administration fee of $5US per student, plus postage and packaging, Kindly note that no certificates will be issued without prior payment.
