FEES:

Once the student signs up for the school, a brochure will be forwarded to the student with fees for all the subjects. The entire cost of the first-year studies, which includes five subjects, is R1100 (cost per subject differs). The second-year diploma course costs R1250 (five subjects).

Payment:

​

In order to study, Discipleship Bible School offers three payment structures, namely EFT, directly on Yoco or Paypal for international students.  Payment arrangements (where applicable) may be made with your mentor. This includes paying for the subject up front, or for the entire year or paying in premiums for the subject or the year as it suits you. The mentor of a student will provide the references to be used when paying.

So why the fees some may ask in connection to the Bible School?

​

It is simple. There is a two-fold reason.

1)     To cover all our expenses. Yes, there are expenses involved to run an online platform to teach students. As a ministry, we also have plenty of other expenses, such as running for the last four years an online radio station (any donations is purely voluntary)

​

2)   To support the ministry. It is not just Lighthouse Ministries involved in this project, but also Avishua Ministries and Impact Ministries.  Through such funding, we are not here to enrich ourselves but to enhance the work of these ministries.

 

The school is never been about profit or money. It is about raising disciples. It is about empowering believers to be disciples. It is about equipping and training a generation to be true followers of Jesus.

For this reason, WE WILL NEVER EVER DECLINE SOMEONE’S WISH TO STUDY IF THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO DO SO. NEVER. Because our aim is to support, to train and to equip.  So yes, talk to us if you wish to study, but struggle to afford to do so. Let us talk and let us get you equipped!

It is written in “2 Corinthians 10:18: For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.” At Lighthouse Ministries we truly believe our course of action carries the approval of God, for all that matters is that He commends and approves. Sure we are not above any reproach or criticism, but we take all correspondence, attacks or even praise to the Lord, and we humbly only yield to Him. If our course is to be altered, we shall do so, as the Lord leads.
